Kenan & Kel was the hip spin-off to All That starring the show's biggest stars Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchel. Nick ran the show from 1996 to 2000, ending it with a TV movie. The show featured Kenan Rockmore, a high schooler who works at Rigby's mini grocery store. Kel Kimble is his orange soda-loving best friend. Chris Potter is Kenan's boss at Rigby's. At Kenan's home life there is his mother Sheryl, his bald father Roger, and his Kel-loving sister Kyra. By 1998 the show introduced Sharla. Sharla works with Kenan at Rigby's. Chris hired her because he thought Kenan couldn't do the job but she was there to help Kenan out. While there, Sharla starts to develop a crush on Kenan. But Kenan never realized until she told him.
Britney Spears was a special guest on the show, apearing in the 57th episode "Aww, Here It Goes to Hollywood". Kenan and Kel take a trip to Hollywood in search of fame, stardom and David Alan Grier! meet up with Britney Spears, David Alan Grier and end up making and unexpected appearance and the Julie Brown show. This episode first aired on September 25, 1999.
