Movie Synopsis: "Longshot: The Movie" is a sparkling romantic comedy with featured cameos by Britney Spears, 'N Sync, O-Town, Take 5, Innosense and C-Note.
Directed by Lionel C. Martin (acclaimed music video director of such acts as 'N Sync, Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men and many more), "Longshot: The Movie" is the first feature film project from producer Louis J. Pearlman who has brought some of today's hottest recording artists to the world.
Shy Alex is desperate to be like his charismatic big brother Jack. Alex has trouble talking to girls, difficulty dealing with the high school bully who constantly taunts him, and to make matters worse, he missed the shot that would have won the big game for school. In short, Alex is a typical teenager!
Alex has always looked up to Jack, who has raised him since they were orphaned. Life is good for older brother Jack, but that usually means trouble is coming - and it is. Trouble comes in the form of one very angry mobster named Laszlo Pryce (Paul Sorvino) who caught Jack with his trophy wife. Jack's life will be spared if he is able to seduce insider secrets out of the beautiful Rachel, a widow who has inherited her late husband's business holdings. Although Jack is desperate to be a good example to his little brother, he realizes he must do what Laszlo wants. But seduction comes at the price of his heart, as he falls in love with Rachel. Vowing never to betray her, Jack is backed into a corner as Alex is put in jeopardy when Laszlo goes after him to show Jack he means business.
Now the tables are turned. Alex has to overcome his timidity as he puts it on the line to make the Longshot that will save the day for his older brother Jack.
