- The song was performed by Travis in 2000;
- The song has been recorded by "Fountains of Wayne". It was never released as a single, but it is presented on CD of B-Sides "Out of State Plates";
- South African band "Hog Hoggidy Hog" recorded a cover for their 2001 album "Driving Over Miss Davie";
- "Doll Factory" made this cover;
- Richard Thompson performed the song in his own ironic version;
