Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline have reached an agreement with UPN to broadcast a new television series that shares their personal love story though exclusive, never-before-seen private home videos they shot themselves during their courtship, engagement and wedding. The series include five episodes.
"Britney and Kevin: Chaotic" is a fun and uniquely personal series, filmed mostly by the golden couple with their own camera, giving viewers a rare glimpse inside Britney and Kevin's relationship and life together. The footage begins shortly after the couple first met in LA and headed out on tour together, and culminates in their ultra-secretive wedding. Fans are also treated to a performance of Britney's new single "Someday (I Will Understand)" in the final episode.
UPN also made some extra commentaries with Britney and Kevin for the show.
"It was really interesting for me because I'm kind of directing everything. It was cool for me to see me in that kind of light, instead of the focus being on me. I didn't know him that well, and when I got the camera out, it made me feel better. It's really weird because it was like all this tension at first. We were so nervous being together. I'm really shy, and when I had the camera in my hand, it made me feel more outspoken. I think it helped at first. The incentive behind me doing this series wasn't for my career. So much happened last year much too fast and I really wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to reflect on all of it. It's like my own therapy" - Britney Spears about the show, May 2005.

Summary: Between performances during her 2004 "Onyx Hotel" tour, Britney Spears focuses the camera on herself as she ponders the big issues of life - love, sex, marriage and commitment - with the offbeat people surrounding her. Britney finds herself particularly intrigued by Kevin Federline's honest and revealing opinions. Kevin becomes the new man in her life. An excited Britney starts documenting their first romantic moments together, and confides her initial thoughts and feelings about Kevin to those closest to her.
Highlights:
Britney's first topics of conversation tonight are commitment and relationships. She interviews her hairdresser, who says he doesn't believe in marriage and would only get married if he could get a free health care. Britney agrees and says she doesn't believe in it either. Britney next asks about marriage a handy man in the hotel room - he has been married twice. Britney says she was married once too and begins to explain. The man tells her that he read all about it. Then the singer turns the camera on herself and tells about her ideal man: he should be cool, unphased by her life, he should be sweet, nice and he should love her a lot.
After visiting TRL studios Britney is interviewing two of her dancers Teresa and Sunny. They all agree that people often change in a relationship and that no one can be trusted.
Britney is getting ready for another tour stop. As she is getting her hair and makeup done she makes up a song about the occasion. The song includes a line about a girl who doesn’t like to wear underwear. Britney tells us that she is always excited to perform and never really gets nervous anymore. After the show, she gives a look at the inside of her tour bus. She says the buses and hotels are always much better overseas.
Britney's second topic of conversation is favorite sex positions. A dancer runs away when Britney asks the question. Felicia says she wouldn't know because she has never had sex. Britney interviews J.C. Chasez, and he says he is a bad boy and likes many positions. Britney now has the camera turn on herself to answer the question. She tells her mom, dad and sister Jamie Lynn to turn away but ultimately never answers the question.
Britney tells us that she felt a huge void while touring so she decided to bring along a friend she met in L.A - Kevin Federline. She saw him in "Joseph's" and thought he was hot so a few of her dancers introduced them. Britney liked that he was serious and sexy and they danced for a couple minutes, and then "magic happened". Five or six days later, she told Kevin to pack his bags, get a passport and "get on the damn plane."
In UK Britney is interviewing Kevin on his views of marriage and commitment. Federline doesn't believe in marriage and love is a commitment in itself. He doesn't need a ring or certificate to prove he loves someone. Later Britney and Kevin discuss their dream dates. Britney says if she could marry anyone famous it would be Brad Pitt. Kevin refuses to answer the question, simply saying, "None of y'all."
Rainy morning in London. Britney getting ready to for her next tour stop. After sound check at the Wembley Arena, Britney is running on a treadmill at the hotel. Felicia is taping her and wondering why the room has been locked. Britney tells her some intimate details about it.
In the evening Britney is getting her hair and makeup done for the show. She speaks about Kevin. He is sweet and she likes him and is really happy. She's nervous about her performance, since Kevin will be watching her...

Episode 2. "Who Said Anything About Love?"

Summary: Britney documents some of the first funny, romantic moments with her future husband, Kevin. From a scary moment on a plane to their silly, casual behind-the-scenes flirting, it's obvious that their relationship is deepening, but Britney isn't ready to admit that it's love. Meanwhile, in the excitement before a show, Britney gets nervous about Kevin seeing her perform live onstage for the first time.
Highlights:
Britney's preparing for the first show that Kevin will see. He knew Britney didn't want him there and he could tell she was nervous. This is when he begins to think that she may have feelings for him.
Denmark is another tour stop. While she gets her makeup done, Britney says that she's never really liked anyone, but she likes Kevin a lot. Kevin is not allowed to be in the room with Britney anymore while she's changing. Mo tells Kevin to turn the camera off. Federline lies and tells him it’s not on. Mo and Tony were definitely watching Kevin in the beginning and relaying information to Britney's mom. Just fooling around, Kevin slaps Mo and the bodyguard responds by sitting on him. Everyone was noticing that Britney wasn't as bitchy as she normally is after Kevin appeared in her life, so they welcomed him in their team.
In a video captioned May 2004, Britney mentions that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have broken up. Britney thinks that Brad is thinking about her. Kevin isn't thrilled by this, so Britney assures him that she's just dreaming. Kevin sarcastically says that all of Britney's dreams have become a reality and that he is a little worried.
The next tour stop is Zurich, Switzerland. After the concert Tony videotapes Britney, Kevin, and Felicia on a plane. Britney's nervous and asks why the plane is getting louder. She has never been a good flyer. The others laugh and make fun which pisses her off even more. Luckily, the plane lands safely and they arrive in the Netherlands for her next tour stop.
After the show Britney tells Kevin that the sex between them is great. Kevin asks her what else she likes about their relationship and she replies that she likes the kissing, but the sex is really good.

Episode 3. "Scared to Love You"

Summary: Skittish about her deepening relationship with Kevin, Britney turns the camera on herself and frankly expresses her fears, insecurities and worries about love and life, as Kevin starts to chip away at the walls she's put up by patiently supporting Britney between performances during her 2004 "Onyx Hotel" tour. While mulling over her feelings, Britney decides to show how tough she can be by boxing with her security staff.
Highlights:
Britney is performing once again. On the way back to the hotel, Britney and Kevin are discussing their relationship. Kevin asks Britney how she feels about him, and Britney ends up telling Kevin that she loves him. Kevin doesn't answer and tries to avoid this topic. Britney regrets her decision to reveal her feelings and ends up taking it back, saying him that she lied.
The next tour stop is Dublin, Ireland. Kevin takes a camera and brings viewers into their hotel room. He tells on the camera that he knows Britney didn't want to be the first to say "I love you." Angry singer tells Kevin that southern girls are known for their bluntness and she can kick his ass. Later Britney's practicing her boxing skills with her bodyguards. She is very angry - her temper is the worst. That's how she deals with the situation.
After the show Kevin tells Britney that he thinks she is scared to love him. That in turn makes him scared to love her.
The next tour stop is in Vienna, Austria. Britney, Mo, Tony and Kevin are in the car on the way back to the hotel. Britney is asking the men if they would have a one night stand with Halle Berry knowing that Britney was having a one night stand with Brad Pitt. All of the men either avoid the question or say that they wouldn't. Britney of course thinks they are all lying and says that she is the only guy in the car because she would do it. Mo tells us that Britney is sometimes hard to get along with.
Britney is getting her hair and face done for her next show. After it Britney and Kevin are back in their hotel room. They end up getting in an argument because they both think the other is scared of the relationship. Kevin tells viewers of the show that the camera actually missed most of the fight and that at one point he packed all his bags and threatened to leave.

Episode 4. "Magic Happens"

Summary: As her tour continues traveling through Europe, Britney realizes she's in love and that Kevin is 'the one.' After a magical time in Paris, Britney and Kevin face some trouble at a Swiss border crossing. Later, the couple discusses their ideas about the perfect relationship and their new engagement.
Highlights:
Britney and Kevin in Madrid, Spain. Britney is telling Kevin all the things she likes about their relationship. She says she likes the good balance of friendship, good sex, and the fact that they are not too serious and that they have fun. And she wants to find someone who can take care of her.
The next tour stop is Barcelona, Spain. Britney and Kevin give us a look inside of their hotel room. Britney also sings her own version of "Straight Up" by Paula Abdul. In the evening Britney is on stage performing in front of 150,000 screaming fans and Kevin is backstage with the camera. Kevin tells that he always treated Britney like any other girl.
After the show Britney and Kevin are traveling on the tour bus and are stopped at the border. Britney tells that she is scared and she thinks they are being kidnapped. The men at the border search their bags and even bring out dogs to sniff them. Britney is examining the men and concludes that they must have an incredibly boring job. She says that it must be horrible wearing the same uniform day after day and at least she gets to wear all different tight outfits.
After Britney's brush with death, she asks Kevin if he thinks about her while she is on stage. Kevin tells that he loves when she wears his hats on stage - it's like she is taking a piece of him with her.
The next tour stop is Paris, France. As they are driving through the city, Britney spots a huge water fountain and asks her driver to pull over so she can throw some coins in.
After Paris, Britney and Kevin are on their way to New York to shoot her new video for "Outrageous." Mo tells that on this long flight he could see Britney and Kevin whispering and he was wondering what they were talking about. It was then that she asked Kevin to marry her. Kevin knew the relationship was heading in this direction but he was surprised it happened at this time. He rejected, because he always thought he would be the one to propose so instead of answering Britney he asked Britney to marry him and she agreed.

Summary: Britney and Kevin reveal how they kept their wedding day plans a secret, not only surprising fans, but even their family members and closest friends with the private ceremony they held in Studio City, California, in September. Meanwhile, Britney and Kevin's family and friends, including members of the wedding party, discuss how they arrived for a get-together and discovered the couple's true plans for the evening.
Highlights:
Los-Angeles, CA. Britney and Kevin planned a huge wedding in Santa Barbara and they wanted to keep it quiet from the press. Tabloids disclosed the location of the wedding and Britney got upset, since she didn't want the press to disrupt the ceremony, because it was turning into an event instead of a wedding. Felicia assured them to pull off a secret wedding, so they went for it. Britney wanted to do something small and quick. 30 guests were invited. They picked out a mother-daughter wedding planner team, who offered the use of their own home for the ceremony. Britney's friends were coming for a wedding shower, so they turned the shower into an engagement party, which was actually the wedding. They told the dressmaker that it was a fitting and the cake people that it was a tasting. Everyone thought it was just a big party. When Kevin and Britney arrived at the house, no one else was there and the place looked perfect for the ceremony.
Studio City, CA, September 18th, 2004. The press found out about the wedding; they even found out the location and were outside the house, taking pictures of people arriving. Guests were shocked to see that it was a wedding, not an engagement party. Lynn wondered if it was a joke, because she was not dressed for the wedding, but she thought the place looked beautiful.
The bridesmaids arrive, learn that the wedding is about to take place, and freak out. Britney's first cousin Laura Lynne thinks that everything was perfect. Kevin's friends are there as well; his best man is Jimmy and one of his groomsmen is Eddie, who hired Kevin to tour with Pink. They didn't realize the wedding was going to be that night. Britney's sister Jamie-Lynn is one of the last people to arrive; she doesn't look thrilled that so many photographers are there. Britney and Kevin explain her that no one knew about wedding and when she found out that everyone had been in the dark, she wondered if they were being Punk'd. Britney's dad Jamie still doesn't get what's going on. Britney's brother Bryan suggests him to read an invitation. After this he tells Kevin not to play around like that anymore. Laura Lynne says that the bridesmaids all had their fittings the night before, thinking that it was for a wedding the next month.
Britney and Kevin are getting ready. The guys were downstairs and the girls were upstairs.
Kevin was nervous. His brothers Chris and Curtis are there. Kevin worried that Britney was going to pull a runaway bride and take off.
The ceremony takes place. At the end, as Britney and Kevin kiss, people throw flowers. Kevin was proud, and it was obvious that he and Britney truly cared for each other. Britney said it was definitely her dream wedding.
After the ceremony Britney puts on her short 'party dress.' She throws the bouquet and Felicia catches it. The other bridesmaids joke that Felicia wanted it badly.
Kevin takes Britney's garter off with his teeth. His mother was cheering him on. The cake WAS really pretty. The guys put on 'Pimps' jackets and the girls put on 'Maids' jackets. Britney's jacket said 'Mrs. Federline' and Kevin's said 'Pimp Daddy.' After the reception, everyone went out dancing.
