Britney Spears Boyfriends - Fred Durst

Fred DurstFull Name: Wlliam Frederick Durst
Date of Birth: August 20, 1970;
Occupation: musician;
Status: self-proclaimed boyfriend;

Britney Spears managed to get herself involved with Fred Durst, the leader singer of "Limp Bizkit." Durst always had a bad-boy reputation. He had been married, had a daughter but spent a month in jail after an assault on the man with whom he claimed his wife had been cheating.
Durst and Britney were dating and had been seen getting smoochy in Los Angeles nightclubs. He was also spotted leaving her Hollywood Hills house after breakfast. He usually used his band's website to bring his friendship with Britney into open. Just after the New Year he wrote that Britney was a "sweet, amazing girl" and he was happy to know her. Then he wrote his 2nd message, "Anybody out there who has a serious problem with my feelings with Britney should just chill out and worry about their own feelings for a minute".
Just days after Durst poured his heart out in his website, Britney denied that any relationship existed, saying on "TRL" "I don't really know him that well. I'm confused about the whole thing. We worked together and he's really cool guy, but there's no relationship. He's really sweet, but he's not my type." If there had been a relationship, this ended it just as quickly as it started.
Their friendship had begun on a professional basis. He was writing some material for new new album. He wrote three songs for her, which he recorded as demos using his voice. Durst said the pair spent two or three days in a studio working on the songs. But Fred told Spears' label he would not let her use the songs after Spears began denying their personal relationship in the press.
In the end of February 2003 Fred Durst appeared on the Howard Stern Show and spilled his guts about what happened between him and Britney. He told intimate details about his personal relationship with the singer.
Howard asked Fred about what happened between him and Britney. They were working on some songs together and he always had a thing for her. Howard and Fred went through the story about how he and Britney hooked up to do these three songs he wrote and how Britney dressed for a work when they were together. She wore one of those skirts that hangs low on the hips and her shirt was exposing her belly. They worked together for a few days on the songs he wrote. Howard asked Durst what the signal was that made him think she wanted to move ahead with him. Fred wrote her a letter and she ended up leaving the studio. The letter was nothing really, just something sweet, but she ended up coming back to the studio around 3a.m, wearing a see through shirt and didn't have a bra on. She told him she just wanted to hang out with him.
Durst claimed that after several nights of working together on tracks for Britney's new album, the singer invited him back to her Los Angeles home along with a group of her family and friends. When asked if the invitation led to a one-night fling, Durst responded, "That would be uncool for me to answer," though he did say that "what I say in my music is very real" and then quoted the lyrics of a new, unnamed Limp Bizkit song:

Ain't it funny, scared to admit it
Very first night made the Limp dog hit it.

Howard asked Fred if Britney had a better body than Carmen Electra. He said she does because he likes a woman to have a little bit of curve and softness. Though he seemed unwilling to discuss the more personal details of his alleged liaison with Spears, Durst was eventually prodded into offering purported intimate details about Spears' body and their private activities. "We were just doing our thing. She was wearing low-rider panties. She was very forward and aggressive," he said. Durst also claimed the pair did not use a condom.
Fred said that the relationship went on for a little while and it's kind of weird that she was denying it.
Several days after the show Durst proclaimed that his song "Just Drop Dead" was inspired by his relationship with Britney. The song isn't specifically about Spears, but his experience with her helped him with this track:

Then I get a call
Kinda woke me up
Said they saw you chilling
With this young little bitch
I ain't some's punk ass
Dealing with your drunk ass
Yeah, you might be fine
But you crossed the fucking line.

Fred DurstBritney was shocked when he went on the Howard Stern show and told a nationwide audience that he'd slept with her. He described her breasts and charged that she was poorly groomed. Britney seemed as if she was still puzzled by his betrayal as she explained, "Fred and I worked together for a couple of days. Justin and I were broken up and my girlfriends and Fred were really good friends, so we'd go out at night and we'd see each other. He started sending me letters and stuff, which is very sweet. I thought he was a cool guy - but that's as far as it went. Then I went on a show and said that we hadn't been together like that. Fred started saying: "Oh, she's lying. She's trying to make me look stupid." It was very weird. Then he went on Howard Stern Show - and my mom had to listen to this stuff."
Angered by Durst's claims, Britney called him. She left a message telling him, "We have to talk. I wish you'd stop saying things about me that aren't true." He never called her back, of course. Had the pair really fallen for each other? Britney said, "I think him for me, but not me for him. He’s said some pretty amazing things about me. But, um, I think he leaped in too deep, too quick." And Britney told "Glamour" magazine that, although the rocker was besotted with her, she had never felt any spark for him.
Spears has never acknowledged a relationship with Durst. Durst said he feels bad for Spears, "We're not enemies. I just don't want to talk to her. I just chose not to talk to her anymore."
The last message from Fred was posted in "The Sun": "I was pretty upset when me and Britney ended. Was my heart broken? Yes. Things were getting out of control and Justin was calling her and freaking out. He had never seen her with another guy before. I have run into him a couple of times since then but nothing was said about Britney. My whole time with Britney was really good for me. For two weeks we were hanging out all the time. I fell for her, what can I say? The aftermath was the ridiculous part. She took advice from somebody and started lying about us. It really annoyed me. I have spoken to her a couple of times and she apologized about the way things happened. She feels really bad."
